I have started online business since 2003. From 2003 to 2007, I have made many purchase. Some products and services are right. And some are wrong. And the wrong ones costed me dearly in time, money and emotion.
And I want you to avoid these wrong purchases and waste of time. Let us move to the point.
Basic Requirements of Success
To become sucessful in your new startup business online, you need to:
1. Have a burning desire behind your business.
For example:
- You just want to have more money to cover your monthly billings and expenses
- You want to earn money from your online business, so that you don't need to do the second job.
- You want to make money from home, so that you have more time with your sons and daughters.
- Or you just want to be free from 9-5 job, while enjoy building your own business from home.
2. Invest some money and time for your education about how online business works.
For example:
- The knowledge about basic business of online business.
- The right systems and tools for runing your business automatically.
3. Take action persistently.
For example:
- You will spend an hour every day for your online business. Build it slowly, but consistently.
If you have done all of these three points, you may have been successful already.
Remember, there is only one place where success comes before work, it is in the dictionary. But in real life, work always comes before success.

The Must-Have Resources for Your Online Business
There are many things you may want to have, but here are five must-have things:
1. Domain Name - The Name of Your Online Business
You must have a domain which are easy to remember, and related to your topic of interest. For example, www.dogtrainingforprofit.com, www.yourname.com
Just do the search in Google, Yahoo or MSN. You can register your domain names from any of those web sites: less than $10 per domain.
Personally, I use http://www.namecheap.com because it's reliable, and easy to manage multiple domain name.
2. Web Hosting - The Place/Office for Your Online Business
After you have a domain name, you must have a web hosting for it, so that people around the world will see your web site.
Just do the search in Google, Yahoo or MSN. You can buy a web hosting anywhere on the internet ranging from $1 per month to $25 per month or from $12 per year to $300 per year.
Personally, I use http://www.serversanddomains.com because it's inexpensive and easy to use and good customer service.
3. Professional Autoresponder - The Relationship Manager of Your Online Business
You must build a relationship with your customers, so that your business will grow.
And the work is done by using autoresponder.
You can get autoresponder service anywhere on the internet by paying about $20 per month or about $240 per year.
Personally, I use this autoresponder software, I just pay it one time for $195 and they install that script on my web hosting server for free. No monthly payment. This save me a lot of money.
Here is another paid option. It's Aweber. I've used this service in the past.
- Easy to use web-based service
- No need to installed anything in your server
- But you have to pay monthly fee for $19.95 per month
4. Email Promotion - The Art of Making Money Online from Your List
There is one person, Michael Rasmussen, that I believe he can share you all the techniques of email promotion in very simple way.
Most of all, he offers these valuable 1-full-hour videos for free. Get that email promotion exposed now before it's gone.

5. Super Affiliate Blueprint System - The Art of Making Money from Other People's Products
Personally, I have bought many books from many authors. The one person I like most is Ewen Chia. And I buy nearly all of his products.
Why? Because he shares the ideas of how people make money online in a simple way. Here is my favourite products from Ewen.
- Newbie Cash Machine - Good for beginners and someone who have failed in the past.
What I like about this products is its detailed 10 steps technique.
Disadventage: This product provides lots of information, it may overwhelm you, especially, if you are a beginner.
In conclusion, I recommend it to you if you want to start your online business right from the beginning.
- Affiliate of the Month - Explains everything about affiliate business basic, affiliate unfair adventages, and affiliate traffic.
What I like most in this product is: The 15 affiliate traffic techniques.
Disadventage: This product provides lots of techniques, and you may end up doing nothing about it.
In conclusion, you get a very good collection of web traffic generation.
- Super Affiliate Club - On this membership site, Ewen shares his secret systems and techniques that make him the #1 super-affiliate in the world.
What I like most in this product is: It provides the secret blueprint system, monthly case study, expert review, secret techniques.
Disadventage: You need to pay monthly membership.
In conclusion, if you want only one product that provides you the simple and complete system which helps you make real money online, get this one. Personally, I really like this product and I highly recommend it to you. Period.
If you get this super affiliate products in the first place, you don't need to buy other products from Ewen. Don't tell him, I tell you this. :-)

Affiliate Elite - The Art of Getting Unfair Adventages Over Your Competitors
Adventage: This affiliate elite software help you find out about your current competition, your potential competition, and/or your future competition in the easiest way.
Disadventage: The price of this software is high. But it is worth every penny of your money invested in it.
In conclusion, the product will give you unfair advantages over your competitors.

Basic HTML Knowledge & Free HTML Editors:
 You need some basic knowledge of HTML to run your online business. See the link below for the resource.
To easily create your web pages, you need to use HTML editors. There are two types of it:
- The paid service like: Macromedia Dreamweaver, Microsoft FrontPage, etc.
- The free service like: MyFreeWebsiteBuilder, NVU, etc.

Good Keyword Tools: The tool for search keyword for your web pages, ad copy. There are both free services and paid services. First, you should use free services, if you can afford the paid service use it. The paid services are more detailed and more comfortable to use.
Below are two great keyword paid option tool. Check them to see for yourself. It's optional for now. But you will need it later.
- With Keyword Elite software you can search for best keywords for your web pages or advertising campaign. This is one time payment for $176.
- With WordTrackerind You can find the best keywords for your business and drive more traffic to your web site. This is a pay per service, it can be $30/week, or $59/month, or $329/year. You can also try that service for free.
